With a solid international career, anchored in growing and sustainable results in sales, the executive is now dedicated to Hasten LLC, an innovative business platform that supports companies, from startups to multinationals, to establish sustainable operations in emerging countries, offering consulting services in pre-market (testing, product conceptualization, regional regulatory processes) and post-market (sales management, marketing and distribution).

The model conceived by Eduardo de Melo for Hasten LLC has already gained capillarity and the company, headquartered in the United States, already has offices and multidisciplinary teams in Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, China, Africa and Eastern Europe.

His professional experiences span drugs and medical devices, focusing on various surgical technologies, laboratory (IVD), dialysis, hospital technologies, unit-dose and prefill systems, RX and OTC drugs, vaccines, biotechnology, IT healthcare, telemedicine, knowledge and medical training, including a management focus on sales and marketing activities, business development (BD) and organizational development (OD).

He is an executive with solid experience in sales of studies and pre-clinical and scientific laboratory tests, acquired during more than 20 years of relationship with the medical device industries in Brazil, Latin America, and European countries.

A special highlight for his strong knowledge of the laboratory's quality system, such as GLP – Good Laboratory Practices (OECD and 21 CFR Part 58), ISO/IEC 17025 and test methods such as ISO 11737, ISO 10993, USP, EP, BP, ASTM, AAMI and FDA guidelines.

Max Bernardes is also a specialist in training and sales of biocompatibility studies (ISO 10993), packaging and product stability studies (ISO 11607 and ASTM F1980 – accelerated and in real-time), certification and monitoring of cleanrooms (ISO 14644), sterilization and monitoring validation (ISOs 11137, 11134 and 17665), validation of purified water systems (WHO and USP).

The executive is a speaker at symposia and workshops or the client's company, aimed at training technical and production professionals to improve contamination control in the manufacturing process and is a member of the study and internalization committee of ISO standards at ABNT/CB-026/CE 026 130 001 “Biological and Clinical Evaluation of Health Products”.

He is a medical device executive with over 22 years of experience, mainly dedicated to the urology industry, with important contributions to this medical specialty. In addition to his experience in developing markets, using distribution channels throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, he managed products from several implantable and consumer lines.

He created improvement courses in the implantation of penile prostheses, training more than 300 surgeons, and was responsible for a program of implant residents for a year, training more than 20 students.

He also has experience in the public tender market for the incontinence, wound care, and ostomy industries in Central America.

Joel Morrell is an executive with over 25 years of experience in leading teams in Sales and Marketing within the US healthcare sector. During his career he has held positions in Sales, National Accounts, Distribution Management, Business Unit Director and Senior Management with Mentor Corp., Coloplast, Flexicare, IBA Dosimetry, Dentsply Sirona and his own company, Innovative Medical Solutions.
His professional career includes experiences in medical devices and disposables, focusing on on Urological surgical technologies, Spinal Cord injury, Aesthetic medicine, Radiation Oncology, Implantable Biologics, Diagnostic Pathology, Pressure Relief, Ostomy, Urinary incontinence and Wound Care.
With a BSC in Business, Management and Economics and an executive course in Strategic Sales Management from the Chicago Graduate School of Business he has focused on data driven Strategy Development, Strategic Sales team deployment, P&L management, and Business Development.

A Medical Doctor with over 20 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of Medical Information systems focused on improving the results for medical organizations and patients across Spanish speaking Latin America.

He is also a founding member of Asociación Healthtech de México, where he participates in the Medical Devices and IT Standards workgroups, his main expertise is in connecting medical devices and information systems through HL7, SNOMED, and FHIR protocols to use the information generated by them for enhanced patient care and care team performance while adhering to international and local information management guidelines, including HIPAA.

Hrvoje Badovinac, M.Sc is executive with more than 35 years of experience. After graduating from the University in Zagreb, Croatia, he emplyed by the Banex copany which was engaged in representing foreign companies.
A few years later he became the head of the Medical department, which included promoting numerous multinational companies such as Medtronic, Abbott, W.Cook, Bard, etc.
Thirty years ago he joined the Medtronic team. From the position of Country Manager, he progresses to the position of Regional country manager and finally to the Regional director. He was leaving Medtronic Adriatic as the leading medical technology company in the Region.
